Application of sand water separator
The sand water separator is used in the sedimentation tank of sewage treatment plants to separate the sand water mixture discharged from the sedimentation tank.
Structure and working principle of sand water separator
The sand water separator consists of a shaftless spiral,lining strip,U-shaped groove,water tank,guide plate,and driving device.When the sand water mixture is input into the water tank from one end of the separator,larger particles such as sand particles in the mixture will deposit at the bottom of the U-shaped groove.Under the spiral pushing groove,the sand particles will lift along the inclined U-shaped groove bottom and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface.After the sand particles are fully dehydrated,they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port,and the water separated from the sand will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.
